Welcome to my creative corner! I am Anne Rainbird (Anna L. Hosta), a children’s book author, illustrator, and creator of The Brave Little Island Series.

My mission is to create gentle, deeply meaningful stories that act as emotional anchor points for young minds. Through the whimsical adventures of Leo the lion cub and his island friends, I translate complex, heavy emotions into soft, accessible metaphors that children can easily understand, process, and navigate.
